Each semester we receive dozens of scholarship applications from non-traditional students in need, accompanied by story after story of hardship and tragedy. The need is great; the resources insufficient. This is where you come in.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 during UMassGives for scholarships and other forms of support for financially vulnerable UWW Interdisciplinary Studies students. Every gift we receive during UMassGives will help us build a solid base of support to help our students cross the finish line and celebrate with their families at graduation.
Our Inspiration
UWW has a strong legacy of paying it forward. We believe in our students and alumni, and we believe in each other. This collective spirit of compassion and generosity has supported generation after generation of UWW students. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, this is our moment-- our moment to harness our past to build a foundation of support that changes lives and makes dreams come true.
To make this foundation of support for non-traditional students a reality, we need your help. So, give what you can and know that a gift of any amount- no matter how big or how small- will make a difference.
And if you give during UWW’s Power Hour on Thursday, April 28 from NOON to 1:00pm, your gift will have the greatest impact.
- If we receive the most donations during this hour, the university will award us an additional $2,000 towards helping UWW Interdisciplinary Studies students.
- If we get 100 donors to give during our Power Hour, a generous donor will unlock a $2,500 gift.
