By supporting the School of Public Health and Health Sciences during UMassGives you create opportunities for our students and our community.
In support of these goals, we have launched two new initiatives that will provide hands-on experiential learning experiences. The Public Health Equity Young Scholars Summer Enrichment Program has been developed to provide rising 7th–10th graders from historically underrepresented backgrounds with the opportunity to explore, engage with, and learn about the fields of public health. It is our goal to lay a foundation for these young scholars to become eventual leaders in public health practice, policy, and research.
The Environmental Health Sciences (EHS) Student Research Endowment supports both undergraduate and graduate student engagement in research – helping to make high-impact experiences available to all students. These students engaging in EHS-focused research are eligible for funding, which can be used to support the likes of research supplies, assistantships, lab hours, travel to conferences, and specialized training or workshops.
Your support MATTERS!
Please consider supporting one of the highlighted funds above or any one of our departments that inspires you. We would also ask you to join us on social media to celebrate our innovative and diverse public health and health science community!
