Mark H. McCormack Dept. of Sport Management Leaders Club
The Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Leaders Club is a student run sport management organization that is dedicated to helping students excel through experiential learning.
We sponsor many tournaments and sporting events, host guest speakers every semester, and provide unique opportunities for students to interact with faculty, and gain real world experience in the sports industry. We also highly encourage innovation among our members.
The goal of the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Leaders Club is to helpstudents achieve success and gain valuable experience that will help them in their internships and careers. We strive to provide a wide array of different experiential learning opportunities. We take pride in the accomplishments of our members, and do everything in our power to prepare them for the sport industry. Our club currently runs three events:
1. The Pioneer Valley Tip-Off
2. The McCormack Future Leaders Conference
3. The Western Massachusetts Junior Golf Classic
All of these events are completely student run, dedicated to given our driven club members valuable hands on experience during their undergraduate years at UMass.
RSO Challenge
The participating RSOs (registered student organizations) with the most donors throughout #UMassGives will receive bonus money! First place will receive $1,000 and second and third places will receive $500 each! Make a gift of any size to your favorite to help them win!
