Western Massachusetts Writing Project

The Western Massachusetts Writing Project (WMWP) Summer Leadership Institute has made a big difference in the professional lives of hundreds of teachers throughout the region. Now you can make a big difference in the future of the Summer Institute!

National Writing Project sites no longer receive regular federal funding to support Summer Institutes, so WMWP must now seek other means of sustaining this vital program, which helps teachers become leaders.

Here’s how you can help: WMWP is seeking contributions to support the 2017 and and 2018 Summer Institutes through the #UMassGives campaign on April 27-28. Please consider making a gift in whatever amount you can, especially during our Power Hour, 3-4 p.m. on April 28. If we have the most unique donors of any UMass organization during that hour, we will receive a $2,000 bonus! And spread the word to your colleagues and friends – share this page via e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter.
