Habitat for Humanity strives to provide everyone with a decent home to live in. UMass Amherst Habitat is a campus chapter that helps build homes locally, working closely with Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity as well as on a national level, helping communities around the US by participating in the Collegiate Challenge during our Spring Break every year. Over the past few years, we have driven to Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and North Carolina, aiding their communities to fight substandard housing conditions. On these builds we have been able to work alongside future homeowners, often times meeting their children and getting the privilege to hear their stories. The opportunity to help rebuild a community, both physically and socially, is life changing.
Since our club runs entirely on fundraising we need YOUR support to continue making a true difference. As the students of UMass Habitat, we THANK YOU indefinitely for your donations!
