Our Mission
The mission of Protect Our Breasts is to share the conversation with college-aged women (and men) about toxins in everyday products that are directly linked to a Breast Cancer diagnosis later in life. We share safer alternative products on college campuses, empowering women to make safer choices during one of the most vulnerable time periods of our lives. Through social media, we provide digestible tips on new scientific discoveries. Your donation would enable us to reach more young women (and men) at colleges and universities nationwide; potentially saving their lives.
How Your Support Helps
Your donation goes to helping campus chapters grow, allowing tabling to be as effective as possible by getting new supplies, National Retreat efforts where chapter leaders and Executive Board members collaborate on future steps for POB, the production of tip cards, and the ability to expand to more college campuses, reaching more individuals. Finally, your donation goes to support the National Executive Board’s efforts to connect with brands at Expo East and Expo West to find and vet the safer alternatives with our science advisory that may be shared by ambassadors at all of our chapter campuses.
