Consider making your gift during the 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Power Hour on April 29, when the area of campus with the most individual donations will win an additional $2,000.
More than 60% of UMass Amherst students qualify for need-based financial aid. Generosity from our community of alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff is essential to keeping a UMass Amherst education open and accessible to as many qualified students as possible. We ask you to support the Cape Cod Alumni Network Scholarship during UMassGives this year.
The Cape Cod Alumni Network is raising funds in order to provide nine scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $4,000 to promising high school graduates. With all the terrible things going on in the world, this is one positive step we can all take. Can we count on you to be part of this important work again this year with a contribution to our Scholarship Fund?

As I'm now entering my last semester at UMass as a computer engineer, I often look back and feel appreciative for the opportunities that this school has given me, and for the support of the people that helped me attend UMass Amherst. I've enjoyed an incredible education administered by professors with fascinating real-world research focuses, at a much more affordable rate than any private college. The support of the UMass Amherst Cape Cod Alumni Association made this experience even more financially accessible, especially in my first year of college, where I was able to focus my efforts primarily on my courses and adjusting to college life, rather than finances.
With the support of the UMass Amherst Cape Cod Alumni Association, I've been able to attend a school that's given me a Summer research experience, lifelong connections with my peers, the ability to work on a Senior Design Project with a team of engineers working to complete a "smart" technologically integrated boxing training machine, and many, many more amazing experiences. Thank you!

"I have enjoyed my time at UMass beyond what I could possibly quantify in words and am so grateful for the UMass Amherst Cape Cod Alumni Association’s support of my education.
I am consistently amazed by all of the opportunities I have been able to take advantage of and am so grateful I ended up here. After a few weeks, I was amazed at how small the campus felt despite its enormous student body and physical campus layout. Not a day goes by that I don’t pass someone I know from home, and I love that. When this would happen during freshman year, it made the campus feel familiar and more like home. The communities I am involved in also make the campus feel smaller and like I belong.
On-campus, I am involved in the iCons Program, Sophomores Serve, the Nutrition Assessment Lab, and am a freshmen Resident Assistant. I also work as an EMT.I could go on and on about the different programs I am involved in and what they individually have meant to me and my education. The short of the matter is that I am grateful beyond measure that four years ago I picked UMass."
Gifts in any amount make a difference, as they add up quickly and inspire the generosity of others.
Join the excitement and make a difference. Be sure to share on social media. Thank you!
With your help, we can reach our goal of $15,000 and show our Cape Cod students just how strongly we support their aspirations at this difficult time. From all of us at the Alumni Network, thank you.
