“(iCons) taught me to be a critical thinker.”
The mission of iCons is to produce a diverse generation of leaders in science and technology with the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed to solve the inherently multi-faceted problems facing our world.
iCons students come from more than two dozen different majors within the College of Natural Sciences, College of Engineering, Public Health, College of Information and Computer Sciences, and Isenberg School of Management. Although different disciplines, ALL students in iCons are highly-motivated, excited by scientific research, and want to help solve big scientific AND societal problems.
“iCons taught me skills that were absent from the rest of my education, like how to work well in teams or write about science for diverse audiences.”
You can help ensure a brighter future for tomorrow by investing in iCons today. Proceeds will support programmatic needs such as student projects, workshops, and scholarships.
Consider making your gift during the 6-7 PM Power Hour on April 28 when the school, college, program, or department with the most individual donations will win an additional $2,000.
Thank you! Your investment in iCons is an investment in the future of both future leaders AND global issues in renewable energy and bio-systems. Inspire others and share why you gave on social media. Thank you!
