UMass Outing Club (UMOC) has fostered a sense of community and companionship that has carried us through years and years of amazing outdoor adventures. As a matter of fact we have been partaking in these adventures for an entire century! As of 2022 UMOC is celebrating its 100th Birthday!! Throughout the 100 years of being a club, we are proud to have stayed true to our morals, passions, and goals while continuing to grow and expand as a club. The first year back on campus after almost two years of being remote has us facing many challenges and obstacles that we have had to overcome. But throughout this year, we have rebuilt our club and continue to maintain the self-proclaimed title of Best Club at UMass!
We are excited about the future of this club! And we need your help to allow this club to live on for another 100 years! Your donations will help us do that. We will be able to maintain our gear and keep it safe for all of our members to use. We will be able to support all of our amazing activity leaders so that they can lead super rad, but also safe, trips. On top of maintaining and improving gear, we are also looking to focus our efforts more on sustainability within the Hampshire Valley area. With your help we could put more time and effort into finding and curating opportunities like trail maintenance and volunteering.
Now, this is important information. From 6-7 pm on April 28th, every unique donation will count towards a potential $2,000 power hour bonus, on top of a $1,000 RSO bonus!!! That's three thousand dollars! With that $3,000 we can do so many awesome things for our club. We appreciated each and every one of you and all that you do to support us. Thank you!
