COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Support the College of Education this #UMassGives!
If you make a donation of any amount on Tuesday, April 30 between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. we have the chance to receive an additional $2,000
Gifts to the College of Education’s Student Emergency Fund will directly impact the lives of students facing unexpected hardships. The Fund has supported students in need to pay for medical bills, childcare, food, rent, and bereavement travel.
“Sometimes the unexpected happens. I did not have dental coverage and I was in pain and had no money to cover the amount. The emergency fund helped me to quickly heal and move on with my graduate courses. I am thankful that I was helped in the most urgent times through the College Emergency Fund.” – Emergency Fund Recipient
“My family had really been struggling to make ends meet this semester after a series of changes and transitions, including my son starting daycare here in Amherst. The Emergency Fund helped us get back on track. For that, we are extremely grateful, because it had been a very stressful fall before feeling this sudden and unexpected relief.” – Emergency Fund Recipient
Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, this year, your donations will go even further.
If we can reach our donor goal Advocacy Board member Janet Bailey ’67 will contribute $1,000.
