Department of Resource Economics

There are a number of reasons why UMass Amherst Resource Economics graduates hit the market prepared to succeed. Our students learn to solve complex societal problems with a data-driven approach. Along with a rigorous education, our graduates benefit from experiential learning opportunities, research opportunities and working alongside a world-class faculty. Our graduates go on to become highly successful professionals in the fields they choose and are proof that this approach works!

Now it’s your turn to give back – support the next generation of ResEc students so we can address our most pressing needs, such as:

Scholarships

Your gift will be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in the program, enabling us to support a diverse group of the best and brightest students possible.

Experimental Economics Program

The Cleve E. Willis Experimental Economics Lab (Willis Lab) is a center for both types of research in economics as well as other disciplines. The Experimental Economics Program involves students interested in using experimental economics as a tool to understand and develop applications of economics and other social sciences. Researchers in the Program study human decision-making, interactions as well as a wide variety of applied and theoretical issues.
