The Taiwanese and Chinese Students' Association was founded to bring greater awareness to the Taiwanese and Chinese cultures as well as promote peaceful and meaningful interactions between Taiwanese Students, Chinese Students, Taiwanese-American students, Chinese-American students, and any students or people of UMass Amherst or its surrounding communities with an interest in the respective cultures. Our purpose is to share Taiwan and China's rich cultures, histories, and traditions with UMass Amherst and the surrounding community.
We are raising money to be able to host the monthly events we have which celebrate our cultures, especially our annual Cultural Night Market event. Cultural Night Market historically consists of games and tabling, food, and performances! Each year, we invite special guests from around the nation and even the world to perform at Cultural Night Market. We hope to be able to keep innovating new events for our student community and the surrounding community for many more years to come!
