Japanese Students Association

The mission of the Japanese Students Association (JSA) is to explore, encourage discussion, and share our cultural awareness of the experiences of Japan and Japanese Americans.  The JSA is open to all students within the Five College Consortium as a platform to deepen knowledge and awareness of Japan and Japanese Americans through encouraging community participation, inter-club cooperation, guided discussions, presentations, movies, and traditional or modern Japanese or Japanese American activities.  We are also committed to creating a safe and welcoming community and gladly encourage all who are interested to join and participate in our events.

With this money from UMass gives, we hope to give back to the community and create bigger events for everyone to join. We all are striving to make JSA the best it possibly can be and we need your help. We welcome any donation and any little bit truly will help us. With this donation, we will be able to more effectively share our culture with our peers and with you. Our purpose is to create a fun, relaxed environment where people can connect with others, it is deeply important for us that JSA is a space where all feel at home in.
