Operations & Information Management Department

UMass Gives 2023 is an opportunity to show your OIM Pride! There is no mistaking that the Operations & Information Management Department’s upward trajectory is due in large part to the support of our OIM community. An unprecedented number of gifts from last year’s UMass Gives allowed us to award almost $10,000 in scholarships to OIM students from a newly created OIM Student Scholarship Fund. Your contributions have also made possible our first OIM Industry Career Day to take place this fall. The OIM ascent continues!

* 96% of OIM students secure a job within 6 months of graduation.

* The OIM Club is thriving with visits from recruiters eager to hire our impressive OIM students.

* Students who complete the OIM Business Analytics Certificate have a competitive advantage.

* The OIM SAP Recognition Award provides valuable experience with ERP systems.

* OIM faculty and PhD students are consistently being recognized through prestigious research awards and professional recognitions.

With about 600 students, OIM is the fastest growing major in Isenberg, and our goal is to sustain and improve these programs for the years to come.

OIM Advisory Board Chair David Sands ’92 is challenging the OIM community to get involved and support OIM students. For every 20 gifts to the OIM Department, $1,000 will be unlocked, up to a total of $5,000! Every gift counts.I would like to thank you in advance for your support of our OIM students and programs.  Your contributions will certainly make a difference in the lives of our OIM students!
