Please pledge your support to help the UMass Men's Rugby team continue to rise in the national ranking while being accessible to a large rugby community. Last fall, the UMass Men's Rugby team rose to 8th in the nation, continuing this success into the spring where they once again qualified for the NCR 7s Championship in Washington, D.C. With great opportunity comes great cost. The Men's Rugby team has financed all of the team travel by themselves throughout the spring, lacking the funding to rent vans and hotels for multiple trips. Donations to the club will go directly to the team and help lower individual player dues as well as expand the team's ability to travel to matches. The club aims to continue expanding the number of matches as well as welcome a greater number of student-athletes to the ranks. This spring, the club had 60 players on the roster, each having an opportunity to play and learn the game of rugby. Players competed in 7s tournaments across the Northeast, a full slate of 15s games, and multiple developmental games tailored specifically to new players. Your donation of any kind will help the club continue to be welcoming to the UMass community as a whole with opportunities for every player regardless of experience.
