Support Dr. Decker’s legacy of excellence in Food Science
The Eric Decker Scholar Fund is an endowed fund established by the Food Science Department and the Food Science Advisory Board to honor Professor Decker’s extraordinary service as a Department Chair, teacher, mentor, and world-renowned researcher.
Once funded, the Eric Decker Scholar Fund will name an outstanding UMass Food Science faculty member to hold the “Eric Decker Scholar” honorific for a five-year term. The Eric Decker Scholar will receive funding to support research, education, and scholarship in their laboratory while holding the title, continuing Dr. Decker’s legacy of excellence in Food Science.
