UMass Theatre Guild

The UMass Theatre Guild is a volunteer organization committed to facilitating student-run, theatre-oriented experiences for UMass students and the community. Over the years, the organization has staged everything from operettas and Shakespeare to student-written plays and contemporary theatre. In the 2021-22 academic year, UMTG returned to the in-person theatre with productions of Baskerville, Falsettos, The Moors, and Urinetown. Most recently, the Guild produced Macbeth and The Rocky Horror Show in the Fall 2022 semester. As an entirely student-run organization, we have to obtain rights, build sets, design costumes, print posters, mainstage storage, etc. The costs of producing student-run theater add up extremely quickly. Our organization provides students with opportunities to engage in theatre in a way that is totally unique and empowering. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering donating to us and allowing us to continue doing what we love.
