UMassGives 2023

DAY 2 UPDATE:

Between 11am-12pm today there is a 1-hour long "Most Gifts Challenge" between the UMass Athletic Teams. There is a substantial financial bonus that we get toward this campaign if we finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in this 1-hour challenge.  If you can plan to give during that time, we have the chance to really multiply our funds!

TO FURTHER ENCOURAGE A "WIN" IN THE MOST GIFTS CHALLENGE... my wife Alexandra and I will pledge dollar for dollar matching gifts during the 11am-12pm hour up to $1,000!!

We ask that you show your commitment and appreciation with a gift during the 2023 UMassGives campaign (April 26-27). There is no better time than right now to assist our student-athletes as they continue to strive for excellence. 

To those who have already supported us this year, thank you for your donation. The impact of your involvement with our programs is impactful. Please consider another gift to participate during this initiative, and encourage other alumni, teammates or a friends to join this year’s effort. We’ve set a target of 100 total donors for the two-day giving period. Please help us hit the mark!

All gifts, no matter the amount, play a key role in the team’s success both academically and athletically.

Your donations will go toward funding: 

• Improvements to Earl Lorden Field Sound System/PA ($3,000-$5,000)
• Pitching Machine ($2,500-$3,500)
• Annual Technology Subscriptions - Rapsodo, Synergy, TruMedia, Blast Motion ($10,000)
• Improvements to dugout and storage (varied costs)
• Increase to recruiting budget
• Continued improvements to student-athlete nutrition
