Management Department
Department of Management

One of our priorities in the upcoming year is to strengthen the Management Department’s ties to alumni and provide opportunities for alumni engagement. We have established a Young Alumni Working Group and will be forming the Management Department Alumni Advisory Council. We look forward to connecting with alumni at the Dean’s Reception in the fall!

Your gift to the Isenberg Management Department will help us maintain and improve the world-class education and student experience we deliver in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Here in the Management Department, we facilitate a broad array of extra-curricular programming for students, including the Isenberg Management Association, the student club affiliated with the Management Department that allows students to interact with industry leaders and alumni, the Isenberg Ethics Competition, and the Isenberg Ethics Team, among many other opportunities. Additionally, his April 29th we are holding the first annual Isenberg Strategy Summit, which includes the Capsim Business Simulation Competition and the Isenberg Undergraduate Consulting Group Case Competition Finals.

While the professors in the Management Department are dedicated to our teaching mission, they have also amassed outstanding records of achievement in research. Our faculty have made numerous and significant contributions to scholarship and practice in both strategy and organizational behavior, and are actively involved with the Academy of Management – the leading organization in the field of management studies.

However, we can’t deliver this remarkable professional education to our many deserving students without your help. Your UMassGives contributions can help us support the research of our faculty and PhD students, fund high-need scholarships, connect students with business leaders, support extracurricular activities, sponsor high-impact scholarly conferences, and more.

UMassGives is a two-day event when alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends inspire and encourage each other to give to the Management Department at Isenberg. Our goal is to get 50 gifts over these two days. We hope we can count on your support!
