The 2022/2023 academic year has been a wonderful year for our accounting programs:
- For the fourth year in a row, our students were national finalists in the Deloitte FanTAXtic case competition.
- Our students continue to achieve great things in Beta Alpha Psi, our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, and in their internships and job placements.
- This year, our faculty ranks tied for 5th in the nation for its auditing expertise, and tied for 1st in the nation for its expertise in audit judgment and decision making (BYU Accounting Research rankings, Financial Times list journals, past decade).
The reputation and market value of an Isenberg degree in accounting keeps climbing!
Dan Tempesta '92 is challenging the accounting community to get involved and support accounting students. For every 20 gifts that are made in support of the department, $5,000 from Dan will be unlocked in scholarship support for accounting students, up to a total of $25,000!
These activities and so many others are made possible through the generous support of our alumni and friends. We hope you will please consider participating today in our UMassGives campaign.
Your gift will support the numerous activities and initiatives that help ensure our remarkable level of student satisfaction. Our goal over the next two days is to exceed 100 participants giving a combined $30,000! It’s truly about PARTICIPATION – no gift is too small!
Thank you for your continued support!
