The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a registered student organization sponsored by the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. Our mission is to connect students and alumni to enhance the UMass experience and foster a spirit of giving back. The money we raise during UMassGives will go toward a variety of SAA events that promote interaction between students and alumni, increasing student involvement and sense of belonging to the UMass Amherst community, as well as providing advancement opportunities for our student leaders.
This year marks 30 years since SAA was founded, and this milestone speaks to the dedication of our students and alumni, and the longevity of our programming!
Your gift will help our organization :
- Host various networking events, homecoming celebrations, and workshops to foster relationships between students and alumni
- Develop memorable opportunities for students and SAA alumni to connect about life after UMass
- Facilitate TAG Days (Talk About Giving) and other philanthropy education initiatives for students to learn about the impact of giving on their UMass experience
- Invest in developing our newly elected leaders to build a strong future for our club through professional opportunities and events
