We are eagerly anticipating the kickoff of UMassGives, the university’s two-day online giving campaign, which will take place on April 29th and 30th. For this year’s initiative, the Graduate School asks you to support our many efforts in Professional Development.
Making the successful transition from graduate studies to employment is a critical time in a student’s career.
Here at the Graduate School we are committed to helping our students improve their soft skills, become expert communicators, and land their ideal job, whether it be in academia, industry or public service
Contributions to the UMassGives Campaign will go specifically to our many first-rate Professional Development activities. Your contribution can make it possible for a student to pay for a professional membership or registration fees for conferences where they can network with leaders in their field. It can help graduate student parents cover the costs of travel or childcare so they can attend. With your support, we can also renew the highly successful Business Foundations Conference where our graduate students can learn from experts some of the key leadership skills they will need in their careers.
Our alumnae tell us time and again, the support and mentorship of Graduate School’s Professional Development Office made all the difference.
