UMASSGIVES 2021 IS OVER. CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT UMASS STUDENTS ANY DAY.
Thank you for considering a gift to the Fine Arts Center (FAC).

The Fine Arts Center is committed to connecting our audiences to a wide range of voices and perspectives through performances, exhibitions, and educational programs. And, it is only with support from you that we are able to do this.

Our season’s virtual presentations of more than 80 virtual offerings remind us of the power of the arts and its ability to connect us, create safe space for honest dialogue, and inspire joy.

Now, more than ever, we need your support.

It’s as easy and 1 – 2 – 3…and 4 by supporting one of FAC’s spring initiatives or by giving unrestricted for the FAC’s greatest needs.

The Tillis Tribute Campaign for the Frederick C Tillis Endowment for the Arts

Your gift will provide funding for all of the FAC’s programming in perpetuity and help realize Dr. Tillis’ dream of having his endowment reach $500K.

40th Anniversary Jazz in July Summer Music Program Scholarships

Mark this joyous milestone with a gift for a Jazz in July student scholarship. Your support will provide much-needed scholarship funds for aspiring jazz musicians.  Talent and financial-based awards are offered.  The FAC’s Jazz in July Summer Music Program, now in its 40th year, hosts nearly eighty students each summer for an intensive week of study with the country’s top jazz artists and educators. Many can attend only with the help of scholarship awards from our generous donors.

UMCA’s New Initiative to Diversify Its Permanent Collection

Your gift will support the University Museum of Contemporary Art’s (UMCA) new initiative to build and diversify its permanent collection to include more works by artists of color and women artists; reflecting its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. UMCA’s permanent collection is central to the museum’s mission of object-based learning and is a stimulus for interdisciplinary teaching and learning for UMass faculty, students, and staff, as well as visitors.

Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Augusta Savage Gallery (ASG)

With your gift to Augusta Savage Gallery, you support its continued work with exhibitions such as “Breathing While Black” and JuPong Lin’s "Poetics of Repair—Being Earth, Being Water." Your gift also provides resources for ASG’s permanent collection.

Named in honor of acclaimed sculptor Augusta Savage and housed in UMass’ New Africa House, Augusta Savage Gallery (ASG) is a multicultural and multi-arts facility. Now, celebrating its 50th anniversary, ASG is committed to exhibitions selected for their ability to enlighten the viewer on such issues as race, ethnicity, class, and cultural identity.

In whichever way you choose to support the FAC, please know that together, we can ensure that all generations can experience the wonders of the arts.

Your gift at any level gets the FAC to the future. Thank you for your consideration.
