#UMassGives provides today’s students the opportunities to become tomorrow’s leaders. When you Support the Libraries, you give students resources like free, open source textbooks through the Open Education Initiative, which has saved students over $1.8 million in course materials; study and discovery spaces like the newly expanded Digital Media Lab, where they can explore 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality, and the latest audiovisual equipment; and services that meet our users wherever they are, including contactless pickup and remote research assistance.
We ask you to make a gift to Support the Libraries during this year’s #UMassGives so that we can continue to support the revolutionary spirit of our students and community. Gifts of any amount will make a difference, as they add up quickly and inspire the generosity of others.

You hold the key to student success. Help us unlock these Challenge Gifts!
Consider making your gift to Support the Libraries during the Libraries’ Power Hour, April 30 from 11 a.m. to noon EDT when the area of campus with the most individual donations will win an additional $2,000. When the Libraries receive 40 gifts from unique donors, another $1,020 will be donated by the Friends of the Libraries.
Help us celebrate the campus’s 158th birthday! When we receive 158 gifts to any Library fund during #UMassGives, Jay Schafer, retired director of the Libraries, will give an additional $5,000.
Calling all Library staff! When 30 Library staff make a gift to any Library fund during #UMassGives, another $2,400 will be donated in your honor for the vital role you play in supporting student success by the Libraries’ Leadership Council.
Thank you for your support of the Libraries during #UMassGives.
