Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management

#UMassGives is a two-day event when alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends inspire and encourage each other to give to the HTM Department and to Isenberg. In 2019, 82 donors contributed $19,212 to support the department. This year it’s all about participation and we are striving for 100 donors to help us reach our goal of raising $10,000!

Making a gift to the Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management is more important than ever. As we strive to grow and enhance experiential learning for our students, your financial support helps to ensure that our program continues to prepare students for a rapidly changing business through attendance at industry conferences, support for extracurricular activities and Leadership Club activities, and more.

Additionally, your donations allow us to fund our HTM Scholarly Advancement Fellowship and our HTM Pathway Scholarship: Creating a More Diverse and Inclusive Community. In the words of our 2021 HTM Pathway Scholarship recipient:

“Your support will go a very long way in terms of relieving a great deal of financial stress, as I finish up my sophomore year at UMass. While pursuing my degree in HTM, I am also juggling schoolwork, multiple jobs, and clubs…Without a doubt this scholarship has motivated me to keep working hard to achieve my academic goals and community involvement within the university.”
