We are Nurses in the Making
Covid-19 has only magnified the need for strong nurses in our hospitals, senior living centers, schools, and throughout our communities. This past year our faculty and nursing students have risen to the challenge of helping to keep our communities safer with asymptomatic testing and by dispensing vaccines at our on -campus clinic.
Help Fund Nursing education– Bring ‘Nursing Anne’ Home!
In the last year, nursing programs across the country have been challenged to meet the demands of the nursing profession and workforce. Nursing simulation has proven to be vital to ensure students get the training they need.
We are raising funds to enhance simulation with updated manikins and equipment. One example of a high tech manikin, is Nursing Anne, is incredibly lifelike and is technologically advanced, so students can have strong experiences with actual care in their training.
Why?
If you're able to donate between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, we will be eligible for extra funding from UMass for a "Power Hour" incentive.
Thanks to the generosity of a long-time alumna and supporter of the college, the first 100 donations made during the Power Hour will each receive an extra $5 boost!
Your Impact
With the support of generous donors like you, we continue to educate and prepare a new generation of exceptional, skilled, and compassionate nurses to provide leadership in patient care, innovation, and academia. What starts here changes the world through our outstanding academic and community health care programs, student scholarships, faculty support, and nursing research. Together we will continue to keep our communities safe and healthy!
