Tabletop RPG Club is a student organization dedicated to providing a community space for students with an interest in Tabletop RPGs, as well as provide the resources so that anyone with even a passing interest can try one out.
Tabletop RPGs are most often recognized for Dungeons & Dragons, and alongside this, there are Tabletop games to include everything from futuristic Sci-Fi settings such as Star Wars, modern set games with a fictional twist like Call of Cthulhu and Vampire: The Masquerade, and quite literally hundreds of others.
In order to provide the resources to play, our club runs a small library of books for whatever system we can get our hands-on, and this is where the majority of our raised money will go. While we had an original focus for a physical book library, with the switch to online with COVID we also have begun working on a digital library allowing members to access club-purchased digital books at home. We're also still constantly trying to build up the physical stock as well, not only with books but also plenty of dice, miniatures, plenty of pencils, and all the other odds and ends needed.
We were founded in Fall 2019 and have only just recently been able to get the funds to start building this library, so any and all donations would be greatly appreciated! During Day 2 of UMass Gives, we'll also be trying our best to host a 24-hour live stream to chat about tabletop games, answer any questions people may have, and of course, get the word out there to donate!
