UMass Men’s Club Soccer is a highly competitive student-run program that promotes valuable life lessons through soccer such as Leadership, Communication, Hard Work, Passion, and Teamwork. We realize we have an ability to make a positive impact on the UMass and Amherst community in many different ways. We contribute by operating responsibly and giving back to the communities in which we live through service projects.
The organization supports two teams (UMass Maroon and UMass White) that compete within the Greater Berkshire Division of NIRSA Region 1. Both teams have endured recent success by winning the Berkshire Division the last 8 consecutive seasons and advancing to the Regional Finals. After a cancelled season due to COVID-19, we are looking to revamp the program to an even higher status. Every year, our tryouts draw hundreds of talented student athletes who are eager to represent our school on a National level and be involved in a progressive unified team culture.
Due to COVID-19, the school envisions budget cuts which may affect our program’s ability to prepare and accomplish our demanding goals. Your contribution today helps our program continue to function and gives our students the opportunity to continue competing at the highest level possible.
Donations received during UMassGives will assist in funding:
- Equipment Costs (balls, cones, practice pinnies, etc.)
- Travel Costs - Regional and National Championships
- Funding a Second Club Team (Budget cuts)
