Department of Accounting

Your gift to the Isenberg Accounting Department will help us improve the world-class education and student experience we deliver to the hundreds of accounting students in our undergraduate and master's programs. In our accounting programs, Isenberg students:

are repeat national champions and national finalists in the case competitions sponsored by the world’s largest CPA firms,
run the nation’s largest and most award-winning Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program,
serve internships and start careers with the largest and most prestigious CPA firms in the world,
are taught by a world-renowned accounting faculty ranked #1 nationally in auditor judgment and tied for #8 nationally in auditing overall (source: 2020 BYU rankings, past decade, top 6 journals), and
participate in the International Symposium on Audit Research, the world’s most prestigious international conference on auditing research, for which UMass Amherst is North America’s hosting university.

However, we can’t deliver this remarkable professional education to our many deserving students without your help. Your #UMassGives contributions can help us fund high-need scholarships, connect students with business leaders, support extracurricular activities, and more.

#UMassGives is a two-day event when alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends inspire and encourage each other to give to the Accounting Program at Isenberg. Our goal is to have 150 donors come together to raise $25,000 over these two days. With your help, we are confident we can achieve this goal!
