Civic Engagement and Service-Learning (CESL) provides opportunities for students, faculty and staff to engage with communities to deepen learning and work collectively for a more just world. Through your gift, you support the development of engaged learning and research opportunities for students that have impacts in local communities in Western Massachusetts, throughout the Commonwealth and across the globe.
For this year's UMassGives, we are fundraising for CESL students with financial need. Your contribution will support summer internships, transportation to community partners and other opportunities to deepen students’ community-based learning experiences through our core programs and courses—including the Community Scholars Program (CSP), IMPACT, The Boltwood Project and the Civic Engagement and Public Service Certificate.
Your gift, large or small, is greatly appreciated and will strengthen CESL students’ ability to engage in powerful learning with local communities.
With sincere thanks,
CESL Students, Faculty and Staff
