The University of Massachusetts Amherst Chapter of the NSSLHA was established to provide undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in the field of Communication Disorders the opportunity to interact with each other, exchange ideas, and learn more about the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Through various philanthropic, educational, and professional activities, the goal of the UMass Amherst Chapter of the NSSLHA is to prepare students for the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, as well as to contribute to the communicably-impaired community.
The NSSLHA provides an opportunity to socialize with peers in your major and across the School and University, to participate in academic and career development events, and to perform community service and volunteer work. It’s also a great way to develop a great peer network while having fun with friends and fellow students.
