The University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band is a point of pride to the University and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as a whole. The Power and Class of New England performs for all home UMass football games, select road games, and at various marching band festivals in the Northeast. We have proudly represented UMass in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Tournament of Roses, 3 different Presidential Inaugural Parades, the Massachusetts State House, and at Red Sox and Patriots games. The last time the UMMB took the field, we were 400 strong, and we have continued on through the Pandemic.
Donations have long made a difference in the experience of UMMB members. Gifts have helped provide new instruments, uniforms, equipment and scholarships. Our beloved home, the George N. Parks Minuteman Marching Band Building, was made possible through generous donations. Every gift made through UMassGives has a positive impact on the Power and Class of New England. Our PowerHour is Thursday, April 29th at 3 p.m. A $2,000 bonus is given to whatever fund receives the most donations.
Thank you for your support of the Power and Class of New England, your University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band!
