We here at the UMass Amherst University Without Walls have been helping non-traditional age students earn their bachelor’s degrees since 1971.

Every semester, UWW receives dozens of scholarship applications from students in need-- single parents, domestic violence survivors; students experiencing job loss, medical crises, and other financial burdens. The need is great; the resources insufficient.

This is where you come in. During #UMassGives we are asking you to support the Friends of UWW Scholarship Endowment, which helps low-income adult students achieve the dream of a college degree.

Last year, we raised over $9000 towards the Friends of UWW Scholarship Endowment. This year, with your help, we will continue our efforts to increase funding for this important endowment.

And if you give on Friday April 27 from 1-2 pm during UWW’s POWER HOUR, you can help us win an additional $2000 towards our scholarship fund!

We cannot thank you enough for your support. Your gift will make a real difference in the lives of adult students.
