Donors Create Innovative Spaces for Students

Your gift to the Library Facilities Fund during #UMassGives helps the Libraries continually re-imagine and transform spaces to meet the needs of today’s students.

Thanks to the support of our donors, the Libraries recently renovated and created the following spaces:

A new Graduate Commons on Floor 5 of the Du Bois Library giving graduate students a unique study and collaboration space to call their own.
A new seminar room in Special Collections and University Archives for instruction and archival research, where students can have direct access to primary source materials. Enjoy the student-created video above about the new space.
The Du Bois Library Lobby was refreshed with new paint and furnishings, video walls, a new information desk, and checkout stations.
