Cape Verdean Student Alliance

The annual service-learning trip to Cape Verde, organized by the Cape Verdean Student Alliance (CVSA), offers students a unique opportunity for cultural immersion and community engagement. Led by a team of twelve students and three staff leaders, the journey to Cape Verde involves activities such as meeting local leaders, volunteering in schools and community centers, learning traditional crafts, and visiting historical sites. Through these experiences, participants gain insight into Cape Verdean culture and history while fostering meaningful connections with local communities.

The participating student organizations with the most donors at the end of #UMassGives will receive bonus money! First place will receive $1,000 and second and third places will receive $500 each!
