Since our inception in 2021, we have been proud to support groundbreaking research by faculty from the UMass Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing and College of Engineering. Our Center has supported twenty student researchers for seven faculty pilot grants, creating opportunities for student learning in research environments.
Together, we are pioneering the Nurse-Engineer Approach, a powerful bidirectional collaboration that fosters real-time problem-solving, innovation, and informed decision-making to optimize patient-centered healthcare delivery.
