The Special Olympics Club at the University of Massachusetts is a welcoming and inclusive community dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports and athletic competitions within the Western Massachusetts area. We serve as a supportive environment where athletes of all ages and abilities can develop physical fitness skills, build confidence, and forge friendships. Through this club, we host events for Special Olympic athletes and our volunteers alike to enjoy. By supporting our missions you will be able to help us get supplies and pay for events to run successfully. These events include our Young Athletes program which helps form developmental skills while giving a sense of normality with fun activities for local youths. Our other events range from a 3v3 basketball tournament, college basketball watch event, and field day, and with your support our club can continue to grow and bring inclusion to the UMass Campus in greater ways.
