The UMass Student Farming Enterprise is a year-long course that teaches UMass Amherst students how to operate a sustainable diversified farming business. Each cohort works together as a team to plan, grow, harvest, market, and distribute their products under the supervision of program staff and faculty. We provide our students with a valuable hands-on experience that feeds our community. We have operated this program since 2011 and donations have helped us to support students working on the farm during the summer, purchase equipment that helps us be more efficient, and add products that our CSA members and other customers want.
Please give on April 24 and April 25 and inspire others to give by sharing on social media! Thank you.
