- Stockbridge research represents the vanguard of knowledge in the fields of agricultural and environmental science. Our frequently published faculty are winning national and international recognitions, including elite fellowship in top professional organizations, and sustained membership in the World’s Most Highly Cited Researchers index.
- Our Turfgrass Science and Management program is the largest in New England, and our associate and bachelor's degree programs are ranked #1 and #2 nationally (collegefactual.com)
- Our Horticultural Science program is ranked #6 nationally (U.S. News)
- We host the nation’s largest fully online bachelor’s degree in sustainable agriculture -- a premier destination for a new generation interested in sustainable food and farming.
- Our Student Farm and Permaculture Initiative produced 1800 pounds of fresh food for university dining commons, farmer’s markets, and community food pantries.
- Funded by generous alumni, our student team impressed industry judges, winning top scores in multiple events at the recent National Collegiate Landscape Competition
- The Stockbridge associate degree programs in Landscape Contracting, and in Arboriculture and Community Forest Management, continue to produce a strong employment rate.
