The Militia

The official student section of UMass Athletics!

For those who don't know, The Militia is the official student section club of UMass Athletics. Recently, we have been granted funding by the Student Government Association to buy tickets for two away athletic events next year, one basketball game and one hockey game. Unfortunately, we still need funding for the transportation aspect of these trips. Our goal as a club is to help foster a growing sports culture here at UMass, and we believe that these trips will help aid the involvement of the student body going forward. We plan on taking these trips to rival universities within the state, or to other universities within our conference. All we need to make this happen is funding for buses that hold 50 students. The actual destinations will be selected once athletic schedules for next year are released. Thank you for considering a donation to our project! Go UMass!"

The participating RSOs (registered student organizations) with the most donors at the end of #UMassGives will receive bonus money! First place will receive $1,000 and second and third places will receive $500 each! Make a gift to your favorite RSO to help them win!
