Your Story International

Our organization is called YourStory International, and we run expeditions to Haiti each winter and summer break, where we hold multiple clinics and try to spread Public Health education in the area of Leogane (about two hours outside of Port au Prince). YourStory International is different from other organizations in that, after researching what the communities are missing developmentally, we identify specific problems and work to help create a lasting change rather than simply trying to cover up the problem as we see it in that one moment. In this more realistic manner, we can empower the local leadership and perspectives, improve health and wellness, and deliver aid in a culturally meaningful way. We will utilize any funds we receive to help make our trip more affordable for our advocates.
