Western Mass Bouldering Club #UMassGives Page!

Sorry, that’s quite the mouthful: WMBC for short. We’re a recreational RSO here at UMass Amherst and are thrilled to find the same enthusiasm on campus as we feel for the focus of our thriving club, bouldering. For those who don’t know, bouldering is a fun, challenging climbing sport that involves strength, technique, and no ropes!

Over the last few semesters, our small easygoing community has flourished into a great group of passionate members we want more than anything to continue to support and encourage. That’s where you step in!

Friends, family, climbers - every donation made will go towards our effort to insure our members are active, challenged, and that WMBC remains accessible to all those interested!

Some specific items we are raising funds for:

Climbing shoes (rentals are expensive, we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to climb)
Equipment Locker
Extended outings! (while Western Mass has an abundance of wonderful bouldering routes, we’d love to be able to take our members further in their climbing experiences)
WMBC paraphernalia (we’re proud to be a part of WMBC, & hope you will be too!)

RSO Challenge

The participating RSOs (registered student organizations) with the most donors at the end of #UMassGives will receive bonus money! First place will receive $1,000 and second and third places will receive $500 each! Make a gift to your favorite RSO to help them win! (NOTE: Multiple gifts made by the same person to the same RSO will only count as one gift.)
