UMassGives 2026

We are Choral Dilemma, one of the many a cappella groups here at UMass. We take pride in fostering an atmosphere of growth and inclusivity while we create music and build community in our home base of Herter 212. Our mission is to bring a sense of community to UMass through our music by performing at UMass sponsored events such as the Student Legal Services Gala. Our group is fully run by UMass students, who facilitate our rehearsals and plan our performances and events. A cappella is unique in that it doesn’t require any added instruments, just our voices. For the most part, our musical ventures come at no cost. However, in order for our sound to reach a wider array of audiences we would love to have the opportunity to have a professional recording of our repertoire and publish it on music streaming platforms! In order to do so though, we need YOUR help. Sound producers are not cheap, and every little bit counts towards our goal of $2,000. We really appreciate all the continued support we have gotten from family and friends as well as the greater UMass community. We certainly could not be where we are as a group today without you, and we are so grateful to be able to create and perform our repertoire in the idyllic campus environment that is UMass Amherst.
