UMassGives 2026

The UMass Badminton Club is a passionate and competitive student-run organization that brings together players of all skill levels who are fueled by the love of the game. We have been super active this past academic year. We are incredibly proud to say that our intercollegiate team placed 4th in the Northern Conference of the Division 1 Collegiate Team Badminton Championships and 2nd in D1B of the NATIONAL Collegiate Team Badminton Championships. This was the first time that our team has attained a title in the spring! Our remaining competitive players, comprising two teams, participated in the MassBad/Coleman Cup and had close runs with their opponents. This is the first time we were able to send players to this local team tournament, and we are proud to have been able to do so. All the while our players have been preparing to participate in the team tournaments, we have also strengthened our ties with nearby university teams such as those at Yale, Brown, and Williams College through scrimmages and our first-ever Amherst Invitational, a collaborative event with Amherst College's badminton team that the Rec Center at UMass had the privilege of hosting. Your help during UMassGives will contribute to crucial equipment like shuttlecocks, first aid supplies, and registration fees for team tournaments, supporting our practices and the club in our mission to provide recreational and competitive opportunities for badminton players in UMass Amherst and elevate our camaraderie with other university teams in the Northeast. With your support, we will continue to take the UMass Badminton Club to the next level!
