Help Us Furnish Our New Grad Student Spaces!

As graduate students in Environmental Conservation at UMass Amherst, we spend countless hours researching, teaching, collaborating, and supporting one another as we work to solve some of today’s most urgent environmental challenges. Our programs push us to think boldly and act with purpose – but the spaces we work in haven’t always kept up with that energy.

That’s where you come in.

We’re launching an initiative to transform our shared ECO graduate student spaces into places that truly support how we learn, work, and connect. Your contribution will help us acquire:

  • Comfortable, functional office furniture that lets us focus on the research and teaching tasks that matter.
  • Welcoming social and study spaces where we can collaborate, recharge, and build community across our diverse disciplines.
  • Shared resources and improvements that make our days a little easier – and our work a lot more impactful.

These upgrades aren’t just about furniture. They’re about giving students a supportive environment that reflects the passion, creativity, and dedication we bring to our fields every day.

Your support helps us do our best work – for our communities, our ecosystems, and our planet.

Thank you for believing in us.
