Bengali Student Association
Hi, we are Umass Amherst’s Bengali Student Association! We are a newly founded organization, and we need your help to prosper. Our mission is to embrace our culture alongside, sharing and educating Bengalis and Non-Bengalis on our culture. We have many events on the way for next year like Pohela Boishak (Bengali New Year), Ekushey February (International Mother Language Day), and fashion shows to showcase important and common events of Bengalis. We also have smaller events like playing Ludo (Bengali board game) and Carrom (Bengali tabletop game), as well as cha (tea) and other Bengali foods. We want to build a community that loves and appreciates where we’ve come from. The money that we earn will be used towards events like these so that we can celebrate and educate on our Bengali heritage.

The participating student organizations with the most donors at the end of #UMassGives will receive bonus money! First place will receive $2,000, second place will receive $1,000 and third - fifth places will receive $500 each! Make a gift to your favorite RSO to help them win! (NOTE: Multiple gifts made by the same person to the same RSO will only count as one gift.)
