Welcome to the UMass Student Government Association's fundraising campaign! Our goal is to enhance the networking abilities of our members and students at UMass. As a rural school, networking opportunities can be limited, which is why we're committed to creating more opportunities for students to connect with each other and with professionals in their fields of interest.
By supporting this campaign, you will be contributing towards the professional development of our students, and you'll be helping us build a stronger UMass community. With the funds raised, we plan to host a variety of networking events on campus, including panel discussions, workshops, and career fairs, to provide students with the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, alumni, and other students who share similar career interests. Additionally, we plan to organize networking trips to nearby cities, where students can meet professionals and alumni who are working in their desired fields, and learn about career opportunities in different areas.
With these new networking opportunities, UMass students will have the chance to develop their skills, build their professional networks, and gain valuable insights into their chosen fields. Our hope is that these connections will lead to internships, job opportunities, and mentorship, as well as provide students with the tools they need to succeed in their careers.
