Operations & Information Management Department

UMass Gives 2026 is here — let’s celebrate OIM pride!

The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department thrives because of YOU — our amazing OIM community. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, last year’s UMass Gives campaign awarded nearly $10,000 in scholarships through the OIM Student Scholarship Fund, helping bright, ambitious students reach their full potential. Your contributions also made OIM Industry Career Day a huge success, connecting students with top industry leaders and expanding their career horizons. The OIM momentum is unstoppable!

Just look at the remarkable strides we’re making together:

* 97% of OIM students secure a job within 6 months of graduation.
* OIM graduates earn the highest median salary among all Isenberg majors.
* The OIM Club continues to thrive, attracting recruiters to our exceptional students.
* The OIM Business Analytics Certificate gives students a distinct competitive edge.
* The OIM AI Recognition Award and OIM SAP Recognition Award provide hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI and ERP systems.
* Our faculty and PhD students continue to earn top-tier research awards and professional accolades.

But we’re not stopping here. This year, we aim to sustain and grow these programs, ensuring that OIM continues to lead, innovate, and inspire for years to come — and we need your help!

This UMass Gives, we have a bold goal: 50 gifts and at least $10,000 raised to support OIM students and programs. Every gift counts — and every gift spreads joy and opportunity!

Special Challenge: OIM Advisory Board Chair David Sands ’92 and his wife Lisa ’95 are inspiring us all! For every $750 raised, they’ll generously contribute $1,000, up to a total of $5,000. Let’s show them and the university the power and spirit of our OIM community!

Thank you for your continued support!
