To our Alumni, Family, Friends, and Supporters,

We invite you to show your unwavering commitment and support for the UMass Men's Cross Country/Track & Field program by making a gift during the 2026 UMassGives campaign (April 29-30). This is an exciting time to invest in our student-athletes and help them achieve excellence.

If you've already made a contribution this year, thank you! Your support is greatly appreciated and makes a difference. However, we encourage you to consider making an additional gift as part of the 2026 UMassGives campaign. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide crucial resources, such as training equipment, travel expenses, and academic support.

We are aiming for 100 donors during this two-day campaign, and your participation is key to reaching this goal. A gift of only $5 will count as one, unique donor toward our goal! We also encourage you to inspire others—whether alumni, teammates, family or friends—to contribute as well. Together, we can ensure the continued success and growth of the UMass Men's Cross Country/Track & Field program as they prepare for year two of competition in the Mid-American Conference!

Grads of the last decade challenge!  33+ donors from the classes of 2017-2026 it will unlock a $2000 gift from Peter Bloom ‘78

Consider making your gift in honor of the current student-athletes who have etched their names into the UMass record books. These individuals represent the standard of excellence our program strives for every day, and recognizing their achievements is a meaningful way to celebrate their impact.

This year, we’re raising funds to support travel to three key competitions that prepare our student athletes to compete at the highest level. A portion of these expenses will be covered through UMass Gives, helping offset the overall cost of these opportunities.

Indoor Track

  • Akron Invite (Ohio) – A preview of our conference championship on a 300m oversized track

Outdoor Track

  • Raleigh Relays (NC State) – One of the nation’s premier distance meets
  • Georgia Tech Invite (Atlanta) – Elite speed and power competition

You can support these out-of-region trips in the following ways:

  • $100 – Covers meals during travel
  • $500 – Supports a portion of a student-athlete’s trip
  • $1,000+ – Helps fund team travel and lodging

Gifts also enhance the student-athlete experience through recovery, nutrition, and training resources, including a $12,000 T-Apex smart training system.

If you’re able, please consider making a gift to support Massachusetts Track & Field student-athletes.

Thank you for your support of UMass Track & Field!
