CHAARG (Changing Health Attitudes and Actions to Recreate Girls) is a women-focused organization on campus that believes that fitness is for everyone and that it can, and should, be fun! Going to the gym can be daunting but when we do it together it is only fun, laughs and good vibes! We host Weekly Workouts where we introduce our members to a multitude of workouts like Pilates, Zumba, HIIT and even jump rope. However, we are not all about working out, we like to have socials throughout the semester where members are able to chat, relax and do fun activities like movies and paint nights. CHAARG truly has something for everyone and we love welcoming dozens of new members into our community each semester!
Next year, the UMass Chapter will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary. This means 10 years of CHAARG providing a welcoming community at UMass where hundreds of young women have stepped out of their comfort zone, tried new things, and made their new best friends. We are raising money this year to ensure CHAARG can continue hosting fun workouts and socials for our members and continue this legacy for years to come.⚡
